Overview

Expense Tracker is a personal finance app that helps you track your daily expenses. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and how it is stored.

Data We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we access:

• Your name and email address (to personalise the app)
• Your profile picture (displayed in Settings)
• Access to create and read a single file in your Google Drive (expense-tracker-data.json)

The expense data you enter (amounts, categories, narrations, dates) is stored exclusively in this file in your own Google Drive account.

How Your Data Is Used

• Your data is stored only in your personal Google Drive — not on any external server
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party
• We do not use your data for advertising or analytics
• Your data is only accessible to you via your Google account

Google OAuth & Permissions

We use Google Sign-In to authenticate users. The only Google Drive permission we request is drive.file — this means we can only access files that our app has created. We cannot access any other files in your Google Drive.

We do not store your Google access token on any server. Tokens are stored locally on your device only.

Data Deletion

To delete all your data:

• Open your Google Drive and delete the file named expense-tracker-data.json
• To revoke app access, visit myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove Expense Tracker
